Having fun in Grand Bahama Island at the Grand Lucayan Beach Front Resort

It will cost you more to stay home, than to cruise with us

People take advantage of the Fall cruising season because of the
  a) Lower prices. (We try prices between $99 and $129 per person ofr the 2 nights)
  b) Fewer cruisers on board and
  c) Warm balmy tropical weather
probably in that order.

In the Caribbean, don't forget the Hurricane season. The season officially started on
June 1, 2013 and will end on November 30, 2013.
The cruise ships will change coarse and ports just to avoid the storms. If you are in the Bahamas during one of the storms
be prepared to stay the night or nights at your cost. The hotels rarely if ever lend a hand in these cases.

Why are there less cruisers, you ask. School aged children are back to school during this season, so the parents of these students are land locked.
Another reason is the Hurricane season. The fear of being caught in a storm is not the adventure some of them want, (I, on the other hand, do like the sense of adventure).

Some of our 2 night cruises can help with the, "Land locked family syndrome", because at certain times of the month, The ship sets sail on a Friday and gets home by Sunday.
This is perfect to be able to get your entire family back to school and work on Monday morning.

Also, the 2 night cruise lines may run specials for Senior citizens and Honeymooners, (those segments not effected by the, "Land locked family syndrome").
Our agents will keep watchful eyes out for thses special and let you know.

“It will cost you more to stay home, than to cruise with us.”
Shut your house down and leave the cooking up to the ships cooks and kitchens.

Cruise till the snow melts

If you can't beat them join them.
If you can't beat the Snow, join us on a cruise.
It seems like the people in the snow belt are calling for cruises more this year than they have in the past.
The snow has a way of tiring people. They need to take a break away from the snow, so they head south to the 80 plus degree weather South Florida has been having latley. Seems that cruising is on thier minds more than years gone by. I am sure word of mouth has a lot to do with that. Thier friends go on a cruise, can't stop raving and plants the seed of cruising. Next thing you know, they are on the phone calling us up to get a way from the cold, so they have a few stories of their own to tell.

We still have some room left on the 2, 3 and 4 night cruises and we are getting tight for space on the 7 night cruises, so hurry and call today 954-969-0069 or toll free 888-969-0069.
I will see you down here, where you can take your winter coat off and enjoy the warm Sun.

European cruises and 2 night European cruises

Barcelona and it's city and night life, Dubrovnik, Florence and the Renaissance treasures, Istanbul and it's mystical people, Portofino you got to be there, Rome and their ruins and Venice and it's enchantment.
All wonderful places to visit, but is it still safe?

My direct answer to you is, YES.

It is a good bet, that if the cruises lines are sailing to a particular area, then it is safe. In some cases about as safe as it is here in my home town of America.

So the only thing you should concern yourself with, is how much time will your boss or your schedual wil allow you to take for this European cruise thing.

I found some cruises that Our Agents can help you with.
Call Wally for the experience or Amy for her patience.

Cruise season is in full swing. Full Steam Ahead.

Here in Florida, the cruises ships are leaving from every port, all 5 Florida cruise ports, (click here, to see the cruise ports of the world blog I wrote last year), in record numbers. I know why, first of all, it is getting cold up north in the good old USA and in Europe too. The South and Central Americans are coming simply to see all the action and shop, shop, shop, buy, buy, buy.

Not all visitors start their Florida vacations as cruisers, but while here, in South Florida, they might use a, 2 night cruise fill in, as a small part of their vacation. Even though most of the vacationers have their non cruise vacations planed by the time they get to Florida, they get caught up in the cruise frenzy and find a great fill in 2 night Bahamas cruise. (I hope, by now, you know we offer those cruises, so call any of our agents for your 2 night cruise. 954-969-0069).

So, do your part for the economy and, spend some of your hard earned money on the relaxation you need by shopping in the malls, and cruising the Caribbean. Bon Voyage, I will see you on the ship.

By the way, there are still a few steam ships cruising.

Ok, now that we got that out of the way.

What I mean is, now we can move on to bigger and brighter things. Get all that we need out of the lessons we learned and the travels we made and the hearts we healed.

Find new travels, New hearts to heal, and lessons to learn.

Look at me, I am learning about blogging and video posting and so much SEO stuff just to get 2daycruise.com  on Google and other search engines so our Partner Agents can give you the best service available in the business for 2 day cruises around the world..

My goal for 2013 is to go on 5, 2 day cruises and take about 30 of my readers with me. Remember though, I will need at least one other person to help me with that.

Another goal of mine is, to get training classes on sales and customer service, so when one of our clients calls  us for a mini getaway vacation, they feel like they are on vacation while speaking to one of our partner agents. I like that idea, a phone call, feeling like the start of a vacation.

Well, I'm out, see you at sea in 2013.

I want to start my Vacation now !

Good Sunday Morning,
Its 8 AM where I am, and 5 AM EST. I was thinking about things that are important to people that travel and came up with these answers.
The day before they start their vacation, they are doing last minute organizing and packing, making check list, and checking check lists. It is important that the Agent helping them with the travel and vacation arrangements is pleasant and can help with the check list.
The vacationer wants to make arrangements for their vacations and feel as if their vacation started with the phone call they made to our Agents. Also, to insure that every part of their vacation, from the time they leave their house to the time they reach their house again, is complete and pleasant.
After all, the "Vacationer", spent most of the year as, the "Worker" and needs to transform themselves into, the "Vacationer" as soon as possible.
So when you call one of our Agents, let me know, here, at this blog, if they did what you expected of them, to make you feel like your vacation started with that phone call.

Stale economy equals more cruises

Good morning,
about 2 30 am EST 5 30 am, where I am
Any way, as I was reading articles on some cruises, I noticed most reporters think that the growing economy is responsible for the huge growth in cruises in 2012. I say it is the stale economy that is having a positive effect on the every growing cruise segment of our business. Thats right, in most cases, when one of our agents find good deals for our clients, it is actually cheaper than staying home for the week, (especially if you include the weekends).
Port Everglades reported record growth about 3.5 million passengers in 2012.
Only Port of Miami is larger than Port Everglades, so Port of Miami is the number one cruise port in the world and Port everglades is number two and closing.
I think if Port Everglades could get a good boost on the 1 day to the Bahamas cruise thingy going, that would make them number one in the world.
a) The new kid on the block as far as cruises go, and
b) Had a record 350, 000. passengers, (give or take some large European families), leave on the one and only cruise ship, the only regularly scheduled 2 night cruise, out of Palm Beach, (for now)

Just another Sunday morning.

Here it is, Sunday Morning, and I got up at 7 am to work on, the 2daycruise.com website.
I got a few things done, but of course, looking at some of those tropical pictures make me home sick for the beach. I will try to quench my thirst for the beach with a local area pool.
By The way, (or as my daughter would write, BTW), The hurricane season in the Atlantic is officialy over,
so , Cruise About the Atlantic Freely and often.
Go to 4daycruise.com for some cool cruise ideas or just call 954-969-0069, I think Rachel is working today.

See you soon

My own 2 day cruise Getaway

Well, I have been working 20 hours a day on getting 2daycruise.com back on the Google search experience so you guys can find it and go on a mini vacation, aka, the getaway.

I have been away from my hometown for about three months now, when I get back, you know I am going to need my own 2 day cruise Getaway, and I will. I will let you know when I go, so you guys can go with me.

The cruise goes to Grand Bahama Island.

I can take and tour of about 20 people myself, with help, maybe 30. so if you want to help, let me know.
I always visit the local conch eatery, and eat the fresh, really fresh conch salad. I head over to the Market place at the Port Lucaya area. I visit the Grand, Our Lucaya Resort Property, its beautiful, and beach myself or use one of their pools.

Ok, I hope to see you when I get back to good old USA around the 3 day of 2013, and go on the cruise with you.
